Salve Ingredients

Plantain

Plantain is a low-growing, leafy plant that grows in abundance on our property. It is anti-bacterial and

anti-inflammatory.

Comfrey

 

Comfrey is a plant with miraculous healing properties.

It heals skin at an incredibly rapid pace. It is especially good for healing bruises and swelling.

Chamomile

Chamomile is a

multi-purpose herb.

It is anti-inflammatory and soothes skin as well as soothing joints and muscles.

Calendula

Calendula's bright yellow flowers are used in many skincare products.

It strengthens and moisturizes skin, heals wounds and soothes tight muscles.

Shea Butter

Shea Butter is anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial. It also helps to stop bleeding and reduces scarring.

Vit. E Oil

Vit. E Oil is an anti-oxidant and is a great moisturizer. 

It also helps to keep the salve fresh.

Yarrow

Yarrow is a wild-growing herb with feathery leaves.

It is commonly used to stop bleeding.

It is anti-inflammatory and its properties enhance other herbs.

Beeswax

Beeswax is not only a

eco-friendly and organic base for our salve, It is also a great moisturizer, helps keep your skin firm, and is very soothing.

Essential Oils

We use a variety of Essential Oils including Lavender, Spearmint, Peppermint, Rosemary, Tea tree, and Clary sage. 

Lavender is very soothing, it is anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory. Spearmint has anti-oxidants and is anti-bacterial. 
Peppermint is great for easing aches and pains. 
Rosemary helps sooth swollen joints and strained muscles, as well as increase circulation. 
Tea tree soothes dry skin and is anti-bacterial. 
Clary sage reduces inflammation and is antiseptic. 
Along with all of the incredible healing properties of these oils, they also make that salve smell amazing.
